Discover one of the world's most fascinating Archaeological Parks on this 2-hour guided tour, departing from Salerno. 

Useful Information

Departure is scheduled from Salerno Station on the 9:41 a.m. FS train. On board the new Jazz metropolitan train, you can enjoy a fast and pleasant scenic ride, overlooking the Amalfi coast and sea, in the direction of Pompeii Central Station. 

Here you will be welcomed by our guide who will provide you with skip-the-line tickets for the visit to the archaeological park and on this 2h walking tour will lead you to discover the history and secrets of the ancient colony buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.

Strolling through the ancient and original Roman streets you will visit elegant domus, theaters, the lupanare, baths, and stores, and then arrive at the scenic forum, where it will be possible to admire the casts of some of the victims of the eruption.

You will find out how the ancient Romans lived and entertained, where they spent their leisure time, learn about the history and many interesting anecdotes about the city and the eruption of Vesuvius.

At the end of the visit the guide will provide you with all the information you need to possibly continue your visit inside the park and directions to return to Pompeii Central Station and then to Salerno.
